Conceived in 1992, the MG RV8 was effectively a comprehensively re-engineered MGB, fitted with Rover’s renowned 3.9-litre V8 engine producing 185 bhp, driving the rear wheels through a Rover gearbox. The result is a charismatic blend of timeless MG styling and effortless V8 performance — delivering strong torque, a distinctive exhaust note, and relaxed grand touring capability.
