Unveiled in 1935, the Morris Eight was ahead of its time, offering features rarely found in its class. These included electric windscreen wipers, syncromesh on the upper two gearbox ratios, and effective Lockheed hydraulic brakes, making it better equipped than many of its contemporaries.
Powered by the dependable 918cc Morris UB-series four-cylinder side-valve engine, with a three-bearing crankshaft and single SU carburettor, the Morris Eight produces 24 bhp and delivers relaxed, enjoyable vintage motoring. The range included both two- and four-seat tourers, and remains a favourite among pre-war enthusiasts.
The example offered here has benefitted from a full body restoration, with the engine, suspension, and brakes all rebuilt. The car is presented in immaculate light silver metallic, ready for immediate enjoyment.
